Man, 35, shot, critcally wounded in Delco

A 35-year-old man was shot in the chest and critically wounded inside a home in Upper Darby Township, Delaware County, Saturday afternoon, police said.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, had a dispute with another man in the basement of a home on the 500 block of Timberlake Road. A struggle ensued, and the victim was shot in the chest around 2 p.m., Upper Darby Police Capt. Dave Madonna said.

Police believe that it was the victim's gun that was used in the shooting. The incident is still under investigation, Madonna said.

The victim identified the suspect, and police expect to arrest the man.
