Mary Jane Snyder Davis, 89, of Coatesville, PA died on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Harrison Senior Living, Christiana, PA. She was the wife of the late George Newman Davis who died in 1990 and with whom she had celebrated 39 years of marriage.
Mary was born in Lancaster, PA, daughter of the late Samuel S. and Mary Caslo Brubaker Snyder.
Mary was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Downingtown.
She was a member of the Brandywine Senior Circle and the Coatesville Area Senior Center where she was a member of the Board of Directors. Mary enjoyed playing pinochle.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary Catherine Davis Frame of St. Peters, MO and her granddaughter, Jessica Frame.
Mary is predeceased by her twin brother, Samuel Snyder, her half sisters, Grace Brubaker and Anna Koser and her half-brother, Earl Brubaker.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Wentz Funeral Home, 342 East Chestnut Street, Coatesville, PA 19320. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery, 6279 Main Street, East Petersburg, PA 17520.
