A local Best Buy store was closed until further notice after employees discovered several inches to a foot of water throughout the building.Â
Spokeswoman Claire Jacques said in a news release that water entered the building Tuesday morning and damaged the store and merchandise at its Tulsa Hills shopping center location near 71st Street and U.S. 75.
Jacques said crews were cleaning the store Tuesday night, but she couldn't speculate as to when the store would reopen.Â
Up to a foot of water filled the car audio installation bay, and several inches of water flooded other parts of the store, Jacques said.Â
Employees will work at other Tulsa-area stores until the store reopens, and customer service will be in touch with customers who had requested items to be picked up at the store, Jacques said.Â
