The man found dead in a Fresno home on Sunday afternoon has been identified.

Shortly after 4 p.m., a man looking for scrap metal reported finding a dead body. Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area, which was a vacant home on the 2600 block of south
Willow Avenue.

Deputies found a man, later identified Ka Vang Her, 34, of Fresno, with a wound to his head.

His death was determined to be questionable and homicide detectives were called to the scene to begin an investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Detectives have conducted some interviews, but have not identified anyone as being responsible for Her’s death.
