Stabbing near Campbellsport sends one to hospital; suspect in custody
Natalie BrophyFOND DU LAC – A person was flown to a hospital early Saturday morning after being stabbed in Fond du Lac County, the sheriff confirmed.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. in a vehicle south of Campbellsport, Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt said in a statement. The victim was taken to the hospital, and the suspect is at the Fond du Lac County Jail.
The victim and subject knew each other, and there is "no ongoing threat to the public," Waldschmidt said.
He did not release any more information about the victim or comment on the extent of the victim's injuries. As of Saturday morning, the investigation was ongoing and more details will not be released.
