GOLDSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Officials in Goldsboro, North Carolina, are still waiting to be contacted by the families of the following individuals whose burial vaults were unearthed by Hurricane Matthew in 2016:
- Alice Phillips, died Feb. 3, 1995
- Rosa E. Becton, died Sept. 10, 1991
- James Moses, died May 26, 1985
- Donnelly Perryman, died March 31,1991
- George Atkinson, died July 16, 1995
- Mattie Daniels, died March 25, 1993
- Lawrence Pickett, died Sept. 14, 1994
- Esther Simmons, died in 1980
- Carrie Flowers, died Nov. 22, 1991
