Multiple snowy owl sightings were reported in the last week in New Hampshire.
The owl was seen last Friday at Cherry Pond in the Pondicherry National Wildlife Refuge in Jefferson, while two were seen from Star Island, in the Isles of Shoals, on Nov. 20.
The owl was among the rare birds spotted recently, according to the New Hampshire Audubon's rare bird alert.
Meanwhile, a Pacific loon was seen Nov. 25 and Nov. 26 off Pulpit Rocks in Rye.
Other sightings include six tundra swans spotted Nov. 22 at Hampton Beach State Park, an orange-crowned warbler on Nov. 24 and 26 at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, and a clay-colored sparrow seen Nov. 25 and 26 in Hampton.
