"The need Healthcare Providers have to make supporting documentation available to Payers for both administrative and clinical purposes is increasing" states Steve Stevens, CEO of Jopari Solutions. "Jopari has for many years been assisting Providers and Payers in the Property and Casualty markets (Workers' Compensation, Auto Medical) to successfully exchange information electronically by enabling the Providers to use their existing office technology to submit Attachments along with claim data. Working collaboratively with PMS companies, Clearinghouses, and other technology suppliers, we have amassed a huge network of Providers who are effectively managing the information exchange process today. In fact, we already are handling more than 1.5 million attachments a month, and growing."

Said Mr. Stevens, "Considering that our Providers already are fully enabled, they now are asking us to help them in sending similar types of documents to commercial and governmental payers. We have begun reaching out to these important Payer communities, and are finding an equal demand to assist in supporting electronic delivery."

"Jopari has invested significant time and expertise in building this network, and is proud to announce the immediate availability of our information exchange capability – Jopari Attach – at HFMA. We expect a great deal of interest, in that the HFMA community knows very well about the high cost of handling paper and its negative impact on operating performance."

Mr. Stevens concluded "We strongly believe that seamless medical information exchange will continue to get more and more attention, particularly with looming Attachment standards and operating rules on the horizon and the need stakeholders have to fine tune operating and financial performance."
