Friends Help Fort Worth Officer Trying To Beat Cancer

There is so much support for Fort Worth police officer Clint Hall. Even people he hasn't seen since high school showed up to help.

So many hellos and hugs for a man who has protected his community for more than 20 years.
Now his friends are there to help him fight an aggressive form of throat cancer.

“I am doing well. It is going to be a long road a long recovery,” said Officer Hall.

A Harley Davidson motorcycle was raffled off. His friend Rory Sabbatini donated golf bags and a custom set of clubs for the silent auction.

Officer Hall's partner helped organize the event.

“I hope to raise a million dollars and I know that it is shooting for the starts, but the stars the limit,” said Officer Shelby Meza.

Officer Hall is part of the mounted patrol division. He and his horse are well known in the Fort Worth area. And they will be back on the road again.

“I am looking forward to going back to work tomorrow," he said. "It is good to have a celebration like this."
