Three people were shot, one fatally, after a shooter or shooters opened fire outside a Grand Terrace roller skating rink that was hosting a New Year’s Eve party, authorities said.

The shooting occurred about 2 a.m. outside Cal Skate, which is located in the 22000 block of Commerce Way, a news release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department stated.

Deputies arrived at the scene and found three gunshot victims. All three had been at the all night New Year’s Eve party at the roller rink, including two who worked as security guards, according to the department. About 200 people attended the party.

Two of the victims were taken to a hospital, while the third was treated at the scene.

One of the security guards died at the hospital a little more than an hour after the shooting was reported.

He was identified as 48-year-old Richard Williamson of Riverside, according to the release.

The other two victims’ names have not been released.

No arrests have been made in the case, and no further information was available.
