Apparel and home décor retailer Gordmans, a division of Stage Stores, is opening four new stores in Southwest Indiana as part of a 38-store blitz across the country.

Grand opening celebrations are planned March 7 at the new Gordmans store in Tell City, 19 U.S. 66, and in Washington, 117 Cherry Tree Plaza.

The company will mark those two grand openings by donating $1,000 to Tell City Junior-Senior High School and Washington High School.

On March 21, Gordmans stores will open in Mount Vernon, at 402 Southwind Plaza, and in Princeton, at 2811 W. Broadway (Town Fair shopping center).

The company said to expect giveaways and surprises at each grand opening event.

Gordmans has headquarters in Houston. The company's store at Lloyd Expressway and Burkhardt Road in Evansville closed in 2017.
