New figures published by the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) show that point of sale (POS). Consumer new car finance business volumes fell by 7% in July, compared with the same month in 2016.

This reflects the fall in new car sales for the month recorded by the SMMT

The average UK motor dealer reported a loss of  £7,000 for July, a small year on year decline, according to dealer profitability specialist ASE.

And finally, the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show round-up. The global automotive industry descends on the Frankfurt, for what is the largest motor show in Europe.
