I’m A Celebrity’s Emily Atack admits fans always confused her for Kimberley Walsh before the jungle made her a household name
Before heading Down Under, the actress revealed fans struggled to distinguish between her and the former Girls Aloud star when she was stopped for selfies
EMILY Atack revealed fans always confused her for Kimberley Walsh before she entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
The 28-year-old actress is now a household name after making it to the final of the hit ITV show.
Emily found fame in The Inbetweeners as Charlotte Hinchcliffe but said, despite this, fans would approach her in the street thinking she was the former Girls Aloud star.
Speaking to The Sun Online ahead of going into the jungle, Emily said: “People come up to me and ask for photos and it’s fifty per cent for me and I have to go: ‘Do you think I’m Kimberley, because I’m not?’
“Sometimes they go, ‘Oh I think you were great in Girls Aloud!’
“It doesn’t annoy me because I love Kimberley she’s stunning and I’m a massive fan. She was the best Girls Aloud – she’s gorgeous!”
Emily will find out tonight whether she’s been crowned Queen of the jungle.
She is up against bookies favourite Harry Redknapp and John Barrowman.
Regardless of the result, Emily’s sister Martha told The Sun how the show has changed Emily’s life for the better after she struggled for years with crippling low self-esteem.
She said: “Emily started off the year lost and she's ending it confident and happy.
