Water main break reported on Five Mile in Livonia

Livonia Department of Public Works employees are out on scene near the Five Mile and Newburgh area repairing a water main break Tuesday morning.
A DPW employee said this morning crews are out working on the break, which occurred near Five Mile and Blue Skies. Residents in that area may experience some discoloration to their water, but assure it is still safe to drink.
It appears the repairs are not adversely affecting traffic patterns too much in the area while crews work to fix the break, which has taken place in some of the coldest temperatures of the winter so far.
