Duclos, Dennis Paul was lifted up on eagle's wings January 7, exactly 69 years after his birth. We lost our "Superman". He was born in St. Cloud, MN to Donna (Knaus) and Hubert Duclos on January 7, 1950. He grew up in Columbia Heights spending many summers on his Uncle Joe's farm in Litchfield. He entered the Army at age 17, and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was very proud to be a Door Gunner. He married Carol Quien on September 8, 1973 and together they raised 3 sons and 1 daughter. They lived in Anoka, Swanville, Circle Pines, 30 years in Isanti and finally retired in Swanville, MN. He had many different jobs. He worked 25 years at Process Displays and Printing in New Hope. He also cross guarded for the children in Cambridge and even did this in his Santa suit. He was most proud of his 4 children as well as their spouses (loving them as his own), 13 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He loved to hunt and fish, especially on Pillsbury Lake. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Mae; grandson, Mason James; grandparents, John and Katherine Duclos, Helen Lahr, Paul Knaus; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by wife, Carol; children, Jefferson (Jodie), Joseph (Mollie), Billy (Carissa), Katie (George) Tribbett; father, Hubert Duclos; brother, Daniel (Robin); sisters, Diane (Tod) Rector, Debbie (Carl) Draack, Deborah (Leroy) Lucas, Andrea (Jamie) Grange; grandchildren, Amber (Jeff), Amanda (Jeffrey), Brandon, Elizabeth, Avery, Andrew, Alexander, Reid, Olivia, Ean, Abbie, Billy; great-grand-children, Quientin, Sophie, Lily, and Emma; & many nieces & nephews. His celebrations of life will be decided and posted at a later date.
