Missing Missouri mom found dead in overturned Jeep

An eastern Missouri mom who vanished on Saturday was found dead Monday in her overturned Jeep, investigators confirmed.

The body of Amanda Sue Ford was spotted inside the vehicle in a ravine off Highway 94 near Dutzow, not far from her home in Augusta.

Ford vanished after she left a party one day before her 37th birthday. A Facebook page had been set up on her behalf to try finding her.

Investigators said they were looking into what may have triggered the crash. Ford left behind a son and two daughters, KSDK reports.
