CLYDE winger Ally Love is at the centre of an SFA racism probe for allegedly abusing Annan’s Rabin Omar.
Hampden beaks are looking into claims that Bully Wee player Love called his opponent a “p*** b******” at Broadwood on Tuesday.
Omar was born in Holland but his family is originally from Iraqi Kurdistan.
It’s understood referee Scott Millar included the allegation in his match report and witnesses have come forward to support the claims.
SFA compliance chief Tony McGlennan has now asked for both clubs to supply their version of events before deciding if action is needed.
An Annan spokesman said: “We have nothing to add at the moment”.
Clyde declined to comment.
Love, 26, is a former Annan player and was making his Bully Wee debut after being signed from Brechin by his old St Mirren boss Danny Lennon.
