Louisville police officer injured in head-on crash

Emergency crews rushed a Louisville Metro police officer to the hospital following an early morning crash.
Investigators say around 2:30 a.m. the officer collided head-on with another car.
The officer involved was rushed to the University of Louisville Hospital. The extent of the officer's injuries is not known.
The driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene.
