Experience the gourmet dining of Wolfgang Puck’s Spago at Disney Springs event

What happens when a celebrity chef selects the best menu items from his iconic restaurant in Los Angeles, then gathers his top chefs from around the country in one kitchen? Find out April 23 at Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill, which opened in November 2018 at Disney Springs.

During the one-night event, “The Spago Experience,” dine as the beautiful people of Beverly Hills do. The flagship of Wolfgang Puck’s culinary empire, Spago serves East-meets-West fusion food synonymous with Southern California cuisine. The restaurant is known for its innovative menu that has been evolving for more than three decades.

Gourmet pizza with smoked salmon and caviar is one of Puck’s greatest culinary inventions and a signature dish at Spago. Ahi tuna cones — also served at the Oscars after-party that Puck has been catering for 25 years — are another famous bite to appear on the tasting menu in Orlando.

“I’m sure there will be dishes with truffles,” said Abegail Cal, public relations manager at Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group. She also mentioned roasted rack of lamb, homemade agnolotti (a ravioli-like stuffed pasta), Wiener schnitzel (Viennese cutlet) and Kaiserschmarrn (traditional Austrian shredded pancake with stewed fruit). Puck was born in Austria, and he proudly propagates his heritage at Spago.

To deliver “The Spago Experience” dinner for up to 350 guests, Puck enlists his pack of experienced chefs — Aram Mardigian (Wolfgang Puck American Grille, Atlantic City, N.J.), Andrew Skala (CUT, Washington, D.C.) and Tetsu Yahagi (Spago Beverly Hills) — to Michael Tiva’s kitchen at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill in Lake Buena Vista.

Executive Chef Tiva, who has been with Wolfgang Puck for 20 years, is looking forward to sharing his space with three talented peers and the master himself.

Guests will also be able to speak with Puck during the event at Disney Springs. If that is not pure magic, what is?
