The defending state champion Trojans (5-0, 4-0) rolled to a school-record 19th consecutive triumph with a dominating performance against the Panthers (0-5, 0-3. In the opening period, Class 6A No. 1-ranked Center Grove got a pick-6 interception from Owen Bright and recovered a fumble to set up a short-field score to notch the road win. The Trojans moved past the previous school record of 18 straight victories, set in 1974-75.

In a wild Indiana Crossroads Conference showdown, Dustin Kostrzewski scored his second touchdown of the night with 1 second on the clock to lift the host Bulldogs (4-1, 3-0) over the Class 2A No. 8 Sparkplugs (4-0, 3-0). Kostrzewski ran for 118 yards and caught two passes for another 61 to push Monrovia to victory. Tyreese Johnson had a 75-yard TD punt return and Deejay Mcferson ran for one TD and caught a Carter Watson pass for another but it wasn’t enough to give Speedway its fifth straight win.

Gunnar Hicks ran for a career-best 119 yards to lead Whiteland’s 379-yard ground game, and Landon Wood turned five rushes into a pair of first-half touchdowns in the win.
