Lexington police are looking for the person who robbed a grocery store Thursday evening.

A man took merchandise at the Meijer in the Hamburg section of Lexington around 11:45 p.m., police said.

When a loss prevention officer approached, the man threatened to shoot him, and ran, police said.

The loss prevention officer did not see a gun, police said.

Police did find a getaway vehicle on Interstate 75, they said, and were following up with the vehicle's registered owner at last check.

Nobody was injured in the robbery.
