MLK Ave To Close For One Week In Morristown

A stretch of the road will be totally closed in both directions for seven days.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A section of Martin Luther King Ave. in Morristown will be entirely closed in both directions for seven days, starting on Thursday.

The road will be closed between Coal Ave and George Street starting Thursday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. To get around the closure, drivers should use Abbett Ave., Ridgedale Ave., and Morris St. or Speedwell Ave. and Cory Rd.

MLK will also be closed southbound at Spring Street. Drivers headed towards Manahan Villages or businesses near Spring Street should use Bishop Naziry Way and Coal Ave. to MLK southbound.
