Miley Cyrus got a lot of scrutiny for growing up and expressing herself. While some of the criticism was fair, she was also slut shamed for her performances and appearance. But Noah, Miley's younger sister, is not about that at all.

Noah Cyrus told The Sun she's completely here for Miley, no matter what she's doing. When Miley got a lot of blowback for twerking on Robin Thicke during the MTV Video Music Awards in 2013, Noah was cheering her sister on.

“I’m like, ‘Go girl, get it, do your thing, shake it,'" Noah told The Sun about her reaction to Miley's performance.

Noah's cheering her sister on is an amazing example of sisterly support. Miley has done a lot of things that have been rightfully criticized, including what some call cultural appreciation — specifically of black culture. Nicki Minaj pointed that out after Miley called her "not very polite."

‘‘You’re in videos with black men, and you’re bringing out black women on your stages, but you don’t want to know how black women feel about something that’s so important?" Nicki said.

While that's completely valid criticism, people taking aim at Miley's outfits or slut shaming or her dancing 'provocatively' on stage is not — that's just sexism. For instance, Robin Thicke was not the target of criticism for his part in the 2013 performance, but many were outraged at Miley's outfit and dance moves. Instead of feeding into that, Noah supported her sister, cheering her on for doing her thing.

What's even better is Noah wasn't supporting her sister because she plans to stage similar performances or looks, she actually noted that she's a little more reserved.

“I wouldn’t say my music is as ‘racy’ but I’m not against it. I’m quite young so I’m not going to be stripping it down," Noah said.

Noah's supporting her sister no matter what is a shining example of girl power and body positivity, and we're totally here for it.
