SOUTHAMPTON, NY — If you've ever wanted to take the civil service test but need details on how to proceed, Southampton Town is offering a free civil service test prep workshop.
The Southampton Town Affirmative Action Task Force, Eastern Suffolk BOCES and the Town of Southampton will be offering the workshop on Saturday, February 29 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Senior Center, located at 25 Ponquogue Avenue. "The workshop will cover information on how Suffolk County Civil Service works and how to prepare for a civil service examination," town officials said.
Although the workshop is free, attendees will need to register in advance and refreshments will be provided. Anyone with questions regarding civil service, employment at the town, or any other matter should contact Juan Becerra, affirmative action officer, at 631-702-1921 or at jbecerra@southamptontownny.gov.
