Fleiss teamed with Jennifer Hyman to launch the popular company in November 2009. Initially a purely e-commerce company, it later opened brick-and-mortar retail locations in New York City, Chicago, Washington, D.C., San Francisco and Los Angeles. She shared advice about "how to spark the innovator in you and to think outside the box to make transformational change happen."
The discussion was moderated by TODAY'S TMJ4 anchor Susan Kim, who was a 2018 Milwaukee Business Journal Women of Influence winner.
More than 500 Milwaukee-area business executives attended the event, which was held at The Pfister Hotel. The event also included a female entrepreneurs marketplace.
