Buffalo Bills rookie linebacker Tyrel Dodson, a former star for Texas A&M and Centennial High School, has been arrested on a domestic violence charge and is accused of stealing $10,000 from his girlfriend's apartment, according to multiple reports.

Medical attention was refused by Dodson and he told police he never put his hands on the accuser.

When being questioned by the police, Dodson said he only took $1,000 and has since returned the amount to her via his manager.

The Bills released a statement: "We are aware of the incident involving Tyrel Dodson last weekend. We have been looking further into the matter and will continue to gather information as the legal process continues."

Dodson is due in court June 18 for a pretrial conference.
