Things got really messy when Noah Cyrus and Lil Xan called it quits back in September and it seems like the drama hasn't slowed down. Struggling to keep up with all of the dirt? Don't worry, we've got an extensive timeline of everything that went down between the ex-couple.

February 19, 2018:

It's been awhile since we heard from Noah Cyrus and her ex, Lil Xan, and I, for one, was enjoying the peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the break is over and the drama is back in a BIG way, because Lil Xan is going to have a baby! And, no, it's not Noah's.

Instead, the mother is Annie Smith, Lil Xan's fiancee, who, BTW, has a matching face tat with her soon to be husband.

Lil Xan announced the baby news on Instagram, writing, "I wanted to wait but i just can’t leave my fans in the dark, it’s official I'm going to be a father 😭💔."

Just a few hours later, Noah posted a selfie of her crying on her Instagram story. "Whata day," the post read.

An hour after that, she posted a slightly happier looking pic on Instagram with the caption, "i WILL be happy if its the last thing i do." While neither of these posts directly referenced Lil Xan in anyway, we have to assume the cryptic messages related to her ex.

According to Us Weekly, Noah found out the news from the rapper's Instagram post immediately after it was shared because many of her friends texted her about it. "She was obviously surprised, but doesn’t feel hurt," said a source. "While this may sting a little, as it would with any breakup, she is completely over him and has moved past that part of her life."

Unfortunetly, the pain probably isn't over for Noah because her ex and his new fiancee may be getting married very very soon. Annie posted an Us Weekly article on her Instagram story with the headline saying the couple may get married tomorrow, seemingly confirming the news.

December 19, 2018:

Three months have passed since one of the messiest breakups of all time, and we are still not over it. Now, fresh out of rehab, and recently back on social media, Lil Xan is here to share his appreciation for his ex, Noah Cyrus.

"I genuinely think these 2 are some of the best not only female artist but in general coming up rn!" the rapper wrote in a post accompanying a picture of his ex with singer Billie Eilish.

Of course, Lil Xan acknowledged his past with Noah, saying, "I know things got sloppy but i see the world so clear now!" He also wants people to know that this isn't a plea to get his ex back, simply an appreciation post for two "genuinely good people."

Still, fans are nervous the pair might be getting back together, which would be pretty disastrous. But, I'm willing to take Lil Xan's word for it that he was simply throwing his support behind two seriously talented ladies.

November 19, 2018:

Looks like Noah is still regretting her relationship with Lil Xan. WorldStar posted a meme on their Instagram asking people to answer the question, "what mistakes did you make in your last relationship that you won't repeat again?" Noah didn't have a hard time answering as she replied back with , "my last relationship was the mistake." OUCH!

November 5, 2018:

While their relationship might be over, it seems like Noah isn't getting past her breakup just yet. Over the past couple of days, Noah seems to be shading her ex on her Instagram through a bunch of memes that she has reposted or responded to. The first was a meme saying, 'next relationship I get into, imma need a $1,500 security deposit."

The second was from a meme that WorldStar posted featuring the popular 'pick which pill' meme. While Noah got the chance to pick two out of the 9 choices, she decided to go with just one and picked 'forget your ex.'

Lil Xan doesn't seem bothered by it, as he hasn't really responded to any of the memes. Hopefully, Noah can get over this heartbreak soon.

September 20, 2018:

Noah talked to Entertainment Tonight to promote her new EP "Good Cry," but of course the conversation quickly turned to Lil Xan. "I'm fine. I'm totally fine," she said about her state post-breakup. "I think it's just something that we both will move on from and it's all love, it's all good."

Despite her mature attitude about the whole thing, Noah still doesn't completely understand what happened (honestly, does anyone?). "I'm confused, that's all I'll say. I'm confused, but that's cool. It was a shock for everyone I think. I didn't know it was going to happen."

Noah is ready to focus on other things, however, like her new EP and her upcoming tour. "I just gotta focus on me right now and I don't really need to have a boyfriend now anyway and I realized that when everything blew up in my face. Like, Noah, just take the time to work on yourself to make yourself happy and you don't need a man to make you happy."

As for having such a public breakup? Noah's used to it. "My whole life has been public so it's fine," she said. "I was born at a Billy Ray Cyrus concert it feels like."

In addition to debuting her new music, Noah is also busy promoting a collaboration with Pizzaslime.com. The collab includes sweatpants that say "sadness," sweatshirts that say "Noah Cyrus sucks," and a vile of Noah's tears selling for $12,000. Yup, you can buy Noah's tears! The description of the product claims that the tears were produced by "Noah Cyrus as a result of sadness." And while we don't know exactly when and why they fell from her eyes, we can only assume Lil Xan had something to do with it.

September 19, 2018:

In an interview with Refinery 29, Noah is asked the craziest rumor she's heard about herself, to which she replies, "Nothing really [too crazy]. Besides that [my relationship with] Lil Xan was set up by Columbia, which of course was a rumor." The answer is super awkward considering it's Lil Xan who started the rumor!

September 17, 2018:

Things were pretty quiet for a few weeks until the video for "Live or Die" (the one that Lil Xan claimed he was "exing") was posted on Youtube.

The vid is super couple-y, as one might expect considering the lyrics, but the whole thing is pretty awkward since their breakup was so public and messy. While it's unclear who released the video, neither Lil Xan nor Noah has commented on the leak.

September 8, 2018:

Lil Xan guest starred on "No Jumper" podcast to discuss his breakup with Noah. "There was lying on both of our sides," he said, continuing with the fake relationship dialogue. "I would say 50% lying, but at the end of the day, yeah it was pretty staged."

In the interview he discusses the issues in their relationship, ones that came up because of his struggle with anxiety. "She would always get mad at me for not coming over her house in the Valley, but I have anxiety really bad so I like to stay at home, but she never understood so she would get really mad at me for never coming over," he said.

He also claimed that the relationship was doomed from the start, "It was toxic within a week." Despite that, they both benefited from the coupling, walking away with social media boosts. He estimated that both he and Noah got at least 400,000 new followers on Instagram during the relationship.

September 5, 2018:

Noah has deleted all the pics of her and Lil Xan off her Instagram.

September 3, 2018:

Hold on, because it's about to be a bumpy ride. After just a few months of dating and one collab together, Noah and Lil Xan's romance burned out quicker than a Labor Day BBQ.

It all started when Noah Cyrus posted this photo with her and artist Ookay, with whom she is currently collaborating.

That's when Lil Xan went off on his Instagram stories, starting with a pic that simply said, "I feel like I'm probably being cheated on."

Lil Xan went on to explain himself on his Instagram story. "Yo, it just hurts so f*cking bad," he said. "You think you know somebody and then you just get used. Literally my whole life is just being used."

He followed that up with a video updating fans on the state of his collab with Noah. "Yo, sorry to everybody, but i'm exing 'Live or Die.' That sh*t's not coming out, the music video," he said, adding at the end, "people love to just hurt me."

Things got even more dramatic when he posted a video of himself peeing on the plaque for his song, "Betrayed." Very symbolic, Lil Xan.

Unaware of what what going on, Noah took to Twitter to voice her confusion.

She also posted on her Instagram story her chat with Lil Xan (whose real name is Diego), showing off what she thought was the reason for his suspicion that she cheated. The text shows a pic of Charlie Puth photoshopped on a naked man's body. "I'm heartbroken and confused," she wrote, "This is the meme I sent Diego that made him think I'm cheating on him."

Noah then went live on Instagram to get her story straight. In the video, she says she helped Lil Xan through a lot of hardships, but in the end she felt more like a booty call. "Never let a man make you feel like your less of yourself," she said.

She also put the cheating rumors to rest saying, "I never did anything I was accused of."

And then, Lil Xan took to his Instagram to clarify that he didn't break up with Noah because of the Charlie Puth meme, but because "she was all over some dude," referencing the pic of her and Ookay.

But we aren't done yet (not even close). Noah then accused Lil Xan of cheating on HER, saying she saw a hickey on his neck that she did not put there.

The story took ANOTHER turn when Lil Xan started claiming the relationship was fake!
"It was something set up by Columbia records," Lil Xan said in an Instagram Live (seriously do these kids just sit around Instagram living all day?). Columbia record has since denied the claim that they set up the relationship for publicity purposes.

Noah was NOT having this new rumor that the relationship was fake and she responded with an Instagram story post.

The "fake relationship" rumor doesn't really hold its weight for many reasons. Besides the fact that all other parties besides Lil Xan have denied the claim, someone made the point on Twitter that Noah Cyrus doesn't need Lil Xan's help becoming famous when Miley Cyrus is her sister. Tish Cyrus, Noah and Miley's mom, even liked the tweet from her account.

Then, Noah said what we've all been thinking, that this break up should not have gone down over social media (though we're kind of glad it did because this tea is too much!).

Now, let's rewind back to the cheating rumors. While Lil Xan's claim that Noah cheated on him is probably false (she was simply collaborating with Ookay and they took a pic embracing each other), more and more evidence has come out that Lil Xan did, in fact, cheat on Noah. Of course, there was that mysterious hickey, and then these DMs that Noah posted on her story.

And finally, Noah posted her conversation with the girl in question, where she admits to hooking up with Lil Xan.

It doesn't seem like Lil Xan has addressed these cheating rumors.

August 20, 2018:

Just a day after their song dropped, Noah and Lil Xan made their red carpet debut at the MTV Video Music Awards. While their PDA was cute, there were also a few awk moments caught on the all-seeing cameras.

Luckily, Lil Xan was a good sport about the pic, managing to make some profit off it with a merch line.

August 19, 2018:

In a brilliant marketing move, Lil Xan and Noah Cyrus drop a song together. "Live or Die" is all about the couple's relationship. The song features lyrics like "When you lay by my side / I see the whole world through your eyes / Ride or die, you and I" and "And one plus one is two, and without you I think I'd go insane / And what you think? Pause, let it sink in / They threw me in and now I'm drowning in the deep end / If I'm religious, you're the one that I believe in / You've been here to help me fight the demons."

June 2018:

While Lil Xan may have made the move way back in February, nothing seemed to come from it for four months, Lil Xan told Billboard. So, it seems like the two started dating around June, though we don't know for sure.

In the same video, he expressed his feelings for his new bae. "We just instantly clicked. I love her, her whole family. I just like her a lot. A lot, ya know."

February 2018:

Lil Xan slid into Noah Cyrus' DMs way back in February, she told E! News. "Xan slid into the DMs. It works people." Though Noah didn't actually see the message until months later. "He DMed me like in February and I didn't see it for months and then I saw that he was following me and I was like, 'Lil Xan, cool, he's following me. I'll follow him back.' And then I saw his DM and we're just hanging out making music."
