High and swift floodwaters close Clarkesville’s Pitts Park

CLARKESVILLE – Pitts Park in Clarkesville is closed until further notice for safety reasons.
The weekend’s heavy rains have resulted in high and swift floodwaters at the park, located along the Soque River just off Ga. 197 North.
