A female airline passenger was caught on camera hurling abusive, racist and homophobic attack on a man sitting near her on a plane. The shocking video, which was obtained by the Sun and Mirror Online, showed the woman shouting and swearing in front of young children.

It remains unclear what triggered the woman to launch the angry tirade at her co-passenger as the plane prepared to land at Los Angeles International Airport. The airline in which the incident took place was also not mentioned by those who shared the video on social media.

According to reports, the woman shouted at fellow passengers and crew members for "about an hour." The passenger was also said to have “threatened a flight attendant” shortly before the plane landed.

In the video, she can be heard saying: "You're a gay-looking a--- n-----" and "you're a white skin a--- n------."

When she was asked to watch her language because of the young child nearby, she continued to shout.

She can be heard repeating: "That's not my kid, I don't give a f--k," before adding: "Shut your f------king mouth, it's got nothing to do with you."

At one point the woman stood up, leaning across the seat, getting closer and closer to the man, telling him: "Stop talking s--- and do something."

The clip also reportedly shows a flight attendant trying to calm the woman while a passenger tells her to “chill.” The video was taken on Nov. 2, the Sun reported.

A passenger who took the footage said: "Shortly before this video was filmed she threatened a flight attendant who appeared to come up and try to calm here after other attendants had been unsuccessful...That flight attendant called for ground control and I assume the police who did end up escorting her off the flight once we landed."

He added: "She used racially tinged language and homophobic slurs on flight personnel as well as passengers."

This comes weeks after another incident which took place on board a Ryanair flight when a male passenger subjected a fellow passenger to a racist tirade.

Delsie Gayle became the target of the tirade of abuse by a fellow passenger on flight FR015 from Barcelona, Spain, to London Stansted in mid-October. A video of the incident shows a man shouting at Gayle, telling her to move seats, while her daughter tries to stand up to him, telling him her mother is disabled.

“I don’t care whether she’s fucking disabled or not – if I tell her to get out, she gets out,” the man can be heard saying, calling the woman an “ugly black b-------.” When Gayle remonstrates with him he shouts at her: “Don’t talk to me in a foreign language, you stupid ugly cow.”

Describing her shock, the 77-year-old told ITV News: “I feel very low. He paid a fare to go on holiday, I’ve paid mine, so why does he abuse me for that due to the colour of my skin? He do it with me and he gets away, he’ll do it to somebody else.”

Later, the man -- identified as David Mesher -- claimed that he is not a racist and lost his temper “a bit.” He also apologized for the incident.
