The Missouri State Highway Patrol said one person has died in a crash on I-70 near Bates City.That incident happened around 3:02 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-70 at mile marker 31 in Lafayette County.Two tractor-trailers were involved in that crash.MSHP said the driver of one of those semi's was rushed to an area hospital where the driver was later pronounced dead.The driver's identity has yet to be released.MSHP, Oak Grove Police, and the Lafayette County Sheriff's Officer are all investigating this incident. Traffic is slow, and has been reduced to one lane while authorities are on scene investigating.
