The State of Alabama has canceled an Amber Alert for a Union Spring girl who they now say was taken by her aunt and grandmother.

The Union Springs Alabama Police Department and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency say that Aaliyah Linton has been found safe in South Carolina.

Aaliyah was abducted from her school in Union Springs around 8:40 a.m. and was located in South Carolina around 1:44 p.m.

Police have also identified the child's father as Alton Lindon, although it is not clear at this time what charges he may face.
