Marcus & Millichap Profit In Line

Brokerage firm Marcus & Millichap Inc (MMI) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net earnings of $16.4 million or $0.42 per share compared with $9.3 million or $0.24 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $172.4 million compared with $149.1 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.42 per share on revenues of $172.3 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead, the company said business prospects appear bright.

Marcus & Millichap specializes in commercial real estate investment sales, financing, research and advisory services.
