Dawkins, whose nickname is "Chocolate Thunder," played power forward and center in the NBA, most notably with the Sixers and then-New Jersey Nets. Today he is the basketball coach at Lehigh Carbon Community College.

He traded jerseys with Franklin, who also demonstrated some of his ball-handling skills for about 60 youth on hand.
