NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio

Traffic complaint: Center Ridge Road

On Dec. 5, an officer made a traffic stop for a driving-under-suspension violation. Further investigation uncovered drug paraphernalia and a loaded firearm in the car. The driver was arrested and charged with improper handling of firearms in a vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon, illegal use or possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. He was booked into the Lorain County Jail.

Drunken driving: Lorain Road

A driver was observed traveling 90 mph on Ohio 10 Dec. 9. The Lakewood man was found to be impaired and was arrested. He was cited for speeding, expired plates, OVI and excess BAC. He was released to a sober driver.

Drunken driving: Center Ridge Road

On Dec. 7, a driver was stopped for multiple traffic violations. The driver was determined to be impaired and she was cited for OVI, excessive BAC and operation at red lights.

Suspicious activity: Center Ridge Road

An officer investigated a suspicious vehicle in front of a business on Dec. 3. The driver was cited for possession of marijuana.
