Body found near Kissimmee auto repair shop, investigators say
Investigators left an auto body shop Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. in Kissimmee, after removing crime scene tape.
Crime scene technicians were collecting evidence after investigators said a man's body was found in a grassy area in front of a repair shop located on east Donegan Avenue and Old Dixie Highway.
Authorities are now searching for a killer.
Police said there were obvious signs of trauma.
"The guy that works there ran over here to us," said Robert Figueroa, who works across the street from where the body was found.
Figueroa said an employee from the shop across the street ran over and then they both called 911.
"He says there's somebody there, laying there dead," Figueroa said. "I thought he was playing around, and then we ran over there and it was true and then he gave me his phone and we started calling 911."
Kissimmee police found a second crime scene across the street from where the body was found.
It was next to a truck with a broken front window and what appeared to be blood on the door.
Kissimmee police said they need the public's help finding information about what happened.
Crimeline is offering a reward of up to $1,000.
