UPDATE: Oregon State Police officials have identified the woman who was found dead along the Oregon coast on Sunday as Satin Fever Star (also known as Kahrin Jean McDonald), 63, of Lincoln City.

LINCOLN CITY, Ore. – A woman’s body was recovered from the Pacific Ocean on Sunday afternoon north of Lincoln City, and Oregon State Police officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying her.

The U.S. Coast Guard worked with state police and Lincoln County sheriff’s deputies to recover the deceased, who was found in a cove just north of “God’s Thumb.”

The woman is described as white, about 5-foot 7-inches tall, weighing between 190 and 200 pounds, with long, dark brown hair.

At this point, officials have not mentioned any other identifying characteristics, or possible descriptions of clothing.

Investigators are looking into the cause of death in this case.
