IHOP in Cedar Knolls will be holding a fundraiser for the local fire department to thank firefighters after they responded to a fire at the restaurant.

Crews were able to put out last week’s fire quickly, with only minimal damage to the kitchen. The restaurant was able to reopen five days later.

Now 10 percent of sales through Friday will be donated to both the Cedar Knolls and Morris Plains fire departments. A special dinner will also be hosted for the firefighters Tuesday night to thank them.
