NYSPHSAA Football Final Fours set, C-NS meets Aquinas while Skaneateles faces Batavia

The New York State final fours are set in high school football, and Central New York has a pair of Section III teams still competing.

Cicero-North Syracuse will meet Aquinas Institute out of Rochester on Saturday at 7 p.m. from Union-Endicott high school.

If the Northstars come away with the win, they will meet the winner of New Rochelle and Shaker in the Class AA Championship Game the following weekend from the Carrier Dome.

C-NS shut out Elmira in the second half en route to the 42-20 win over the Express in the state quarterfinals.

In Class B, the Skaneateles Lakers will now face Batavia on Saturday at 3 p.m. from Union-Endicott high school.

If the Lakers can find a way to win, they will meet the winner of Marlboro Central and Glens Falls in the Class B Championship Game the following weekend from the Carrier Dome.

Skaneateles took down New York State's No. 1 team in the quarterfinals, Chenango Forks, on a last-second touchdown run from senior quarterback Patrick Hackler.
