PONTIN’S holiday camp worker Danielle Loxton was married to two of her colleagues at the same time, a court was told.

Serial bigamist Danielle Loxton, from Southport, then walked down the aisle for the third time and married another man without divorcing the first.

But her lies caught up with her when the second man she married, Steven Baker, tried to get a divorce and found out his wife was already married to his ex-colleague.

The 37-year-old admitted two counts of bigamy at Nottingham Crown Court and was handed a suspended prison sentence.

The court heard that Loxton, of Guildford Road, Birkdale, first walked down the aisle to marry Peter Clarke in 1994.

They worked together at Pontin’s, Ainsdale, where she was a cleaner and continued working together after they split up two years later.

Loxton, who lists her relationship status on Facebook as “it’s complicated” then married Mr Baker, who was also working at Pontin’s.

They married at Nottingham Register Office in 1999.

The couple then moved to Nottingham and started a family. It was only when their relationship broke down and Mr Baker filed for divorce in 2004 that he realised Loxton was still married to his former co-worker.

The couple divorced and two years later Loxton walked down the aisle for the third time with another of Baker’s friends, Stacey Porter, also from Southport. She had still never divorced Mr Clarke and her web of lies unravelled.

Loxton was given a three month sentence for illegally marrying Mr Baker and a four month sentence for her marriage to Mr Porter, suspended for two years. She was also made to pay court costs of £1,000.

Judge Tony Mitchell said she was a “thoroughly dishonest person”.
