Comedian Tony Rock has been cast in Judah Miller's ABC pilot.

The single-camera comedy follows two parents with an athletic son, as they are thrust into the world of youth sports.

Rock - the younger brother of Chris Rock - is playing Ty, who acts as a foil to his brother-in-law Gary, reports Deadline.

Smash star Megan Hilty was previously cast as Irene, a Tony Award-winning mother trying to adjust to life as a suburban mother. Efren Ramirez also stars.

The project is written by Miller and executive produced by Tom Lassally and Jonathan Berry.
