Batman vs Superman Movie Plot, Cast News: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot Appear At San Diego Comic-Con 2014 (VIDEO)

The stars of the upcoming 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' movie recently made their appearance at this year's San Diego Comic-Con event.

"We have a teeny little thing," said film director Zack Snyder to the fans in attendance, "We have to go back to finish the movie."

When he unveiled a quick movie teaser, and before he left the stage, he shocked fans with the appearances of actors Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot.

However, none of the three major stars who will play as the three greatest superheroes in DC Comics history made any comments whatsoever, but they did wave at the fans and took a selfie photo with moderator and TV host Chris Hardwick.

"Warner's is definitely going big here's #batman, #superman and #wonderwoman #sdcc," tweeted Variety's Senior Film Reporter Alexandra Cheney after she viewed the historic moment regarding Snyder's newest movie.

This was the first public appearance of the three actors who will play as the future members and leaders of the extremely popular superhero faction, the Justice League.

"Great time at #SDCC this year! #WonderWoman #DCTrinity http://i.imgur.com/y74HKHY.jpg," wrote Snyder via Twitter on July 26, the same day when Cavill, Affleck and Gadot appeared at Comic-Con.

The new Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Tao Okamoto, Callan Mulvey and Oscar Award winning actress Holly Hunter.

The 'Batman vs. Superman' film is expected to arrive in movie theaters on May 6, 2016.
