Accused dirty dancing woman gets no love in Hobe Sound

HOBE SOUND — Nancy Wolfteich apparently didn’t like it when she said another woman was "dancing on top of her fiancé," according to a Martin County Sheriff’s Office report.

Wolfteich, 54, further reported the woman, also 54, was cutting a rug in a sexually suggestive manner during the Dec. 31 incident at a Hobe Sound mobile home park.

An altercation occurred and Wolfteich, of Cocoa, wound up behind bars.

Deputies went to the mobile home park in the 10800 block of Southeast Federal Highway about 9:35 p.m. after a fight.

A woman identified by investigators as the victim said Wolfteich "attacked" her, punching her in the face.

The victim said the attack came because she was talking to Wolfteich’s fiancé. Investigators saw a cut and bruise under the victim’s eye.

Wolfteich said she pushed the victim because she "was dancing on top of her fiancé, and 'spreading her legs,'" the report states.

Many could consider it physically suggestive when a woman dances on top of a man and parts her lower extremities.

The type of dance, such as the samba or waltz, was not specified.

Wolfteich said she didn’t push or punch the victim, and a deputy reported she "attempted to change her recollection of events several times."

"Next time I see that (expletive) I’m going to beat her (expletive) again," Wolfteich is quoted as saying.

Described by a deputy as smelling of booze, Wolfteich was arrested on a battery charge.
