COLUMBUS (WCMH) – With Christmas just a few days away, toy drives continue around the area.

On Wednesday, a group of employees from Lane Bryant and Catherines clothing stores dropped off a donation of 450 toys and games, as well as some gift cards, to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

The presents will go to patients who will be at Children’s over the holiday.

Kathy Quickert, associate vice president of marketing for Lane Bryant and Catherines, said the drive began with a wish list tree.

“So we put 450 ornaments on the tree, and associates throughout the company just kept pulling off ornaments and this is the result of the donation,” Quickert said. “It’s a joy to come in every day knowing that an organization supports women and children the way Lane Bryant and Catherines [do].”

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is still collecting toys through Friday, December 22 at noon. If you want to drop off toys, go to the Urgent Care entrance. You can find details on what to donate at http://www.nationwidechildrens.org/holiday-toy-drive
