After more than three years of dating Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander, swimsuit model Kate Upton is officially off the market.
Upton was spotted with a large engagement ring, designed by Verlander, on the red carpet at the 2016 Met Gala in New York City.

"I'm really excited, he asked me right before season started so we've been keeping it on the down low for quite a while," Upton told E! News. "So I'm excited to finally be able to share it with the world!"
Upton, 23, said the two haven't decided on a date for their wedding but rather "are enjoying the engagement period."
The satisfaction of knowing he's engaged to a former cover girl for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit Issue isn't helping Verlander, 33, on the field however. The right-hander owns a 5.46 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 29 2/3 innings to begin the season.
