It's anyone's guess as to who will be returning to the X Factor panel for the 2018 series. Not even Scherzy knows.
Nicole Scherzinger, who has appeared in a total of four series (including the last two), is still waiting to find out Simon Cowell's plans – and there is no point in asking her about it.
Speaking to The Mirror, the former Pussycat Doll dropped an F-bomb as she said the music mogul doesn't even tell the judges themselves who will be on the panel until the last possible moment.
"Simon is so f**king last-minute, we know in the same month that he announces it," she said at a Golden Globes after-party.
"We'll see what happens."
The 2016 and 2017 panels consisted of Scherzinger, Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, but there are rumours that Cheryl is being lined up for a full-time return.
"Cheryl and Simon spoke about her going back next year," Liam Payne said in October 2017. "Obviously Simon is desperate to get her back."
Although Cheryl and Louis have had their fair share of squabbles in the past, Louis has commented that he would have no problem with seeing the former Girls Aloud singer back on the panel.
"If Cheryl comes back, that's fine," he said. "Look, we would agree to disagree on certain things but that's what makes it good. We all get on."
