It's officially the postseason for Kansas State.
K-State will take on LSU in the Texas Bowl on Jan. 4. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. CT, and fans can watch on TV on ESPN or stream through the Watch ESPN app with a cable provider login.
The Wildcats (7-5, 4-5 in the Big 12) will take the field with a new offensive coordinator; Collin Klein assumed the role as former K-State offensive coordinator Courtney Messingham was let go ahead of the bowl game. Running back Deuce Vaughn has been the offense's spark this season, rushing for 1,246 yards and 15 touchdowns. The sophomore All-American also has 47 receptions for 471 yards and three touchdowns on the year, too. Defensively, Felix Anudike paved the way with 14.5 tackles for a loss, including 11 sacks.
LSU had a quiet season by the program's standards, going 6-6 (3-5 in the SEC), but made national headlines with its hiring of Brian Kelly, who replaces Tiger coach Ed Orgeron, who won't coach in the bowl game.
