Celebrity Big Brother summer 2017: Who is going into the CBB house?

2017's first Celebrity Big Brother series is over, and now we're already looking forward to the big summer blockbuster edition.

Channel 5 has yet to officially confirm what to expect from the TWENTIETH celebrity series, but there are rumours that it might be a second "All Stars vs New Stars" after the success of the first at the start of the year, and the title being bandied about is "Summer Legends".

The summer edition will kick off on Tuesday, August 1 at 9pm (days after the current civilian Big Brother series ends on Friday, July 28) with Emma Willis at the helm, while Rylan Clark-Neal's Bit on the Side also returns on weeknights.

As a bonus, Channel 5 has also revealed the new eye – and dare we say that it looks pretty shiny...

So who might turn up?

New stars

Honey G

Who? X Factor rapper

What's the rumour? Gogglebox star Sandra Martin (another rumours housemate) sent rumour mills into overdrive when she dropped a bombshell tweet last weekend. Underneath a picture of the X Factor rapper, she wrote: "I WILL BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND HONEY G. QUEEN BEE LIVE WATCHING HONEY G. MEETING ME IN BIG BROTHER HOUSE. I WILL SNOG YOU THEN." Does she know something we don't?

Kem Cetinay

Who? Love Island winner

What's the rumour? The nation has fallen in love with Kem following his Love Island win and Celebrity Big Brother bosses haven't failed to notice. According to reports, he's being offered £100,000 to enter the house on August 1. But will he accept if girlfriend Amber Davies doesn't get to go in with him?

Chris Hughes

Who? Love Island star

What's the rumour? Chris might not have won Love Island but he's proving to be one of the most popular off the back of the show. He's already hit 1 million followers on Instagram and now, rumour has it that CBB producers are keen to sign up Chris and Kem together. Apparently, there's A LOT of money on the table to help persuade him.

Shobna Gulati

Who? Coronation Street actress

What's the rumour? She left the cobbles four years ago and now, CBB insiders are claiming Shobna has signed up to become a housemate. Nothing has been confirmed just yet, but if she does, the star will be following in the footsteps of Corrie legends like Julie Goodyear.

Shaun Williamson

Who? EastEnders actor

What's the rumour? Apparently, Shobna isn't the only soap star CBB bosses have their eye on. Shaun is a Walford icon for playing the hopeless Barry Evans and producers think viewers will love him.

Sarah Harding

Who? Girls Aloud singer

What's the rumour? Tabloid reports claimed that Sarah is mulling over a deal to join the show, but more recent stories stated that she was having second thoughts about the idea.

Jordan Davies

Who? Reality TV star

What's the rumour? More tabloid stories pointed towards Megan McKenna's ex-boyfriend Jordan, after the TOWIE star's appearance on the show. Jordan is known for his appearances on both ITV Weekender and Ex On The Beach, so could he add this to his resumé?

Sinitta

Who? 1980s singer, Simon Cowell's ex and BFF

What's the rumour? We're actually surprised that Sinitta hasn't already done it. She told OK! magazine that she has been approached, saying: "I've given them my rider, but there have been complaints. I just asked for a few things that would make it nice because they've asked me every year and I've always said no. But if these things could happen, then I could do it.

"If I last more than halfway, I want my puppy to visit me. I want a swearing ban, because I don't swear and people shouldn't be allowed to swear at me or around me. I asked for a bodyguard who would stand with me at all times, especially when I'm asleep. If they provide alcohol then I want tequila because it's all I drink. Quite reasonable, really.

"The producer said it's the most ridiculous rider they'd ever had. It has gone a bit quiet, I must admit. But if you don't ask, you don't get!"

Dawn Ward

Who? Real Housewives of Cheshire star

What's the rumour? Following the rumours surrounding Sinitta, it wasn't long before her nemesis Dawn was on the list (according to tabloids, of course). The pair ended up in court last year, after a napkin-related dispute, where Dawn was convicted of common assault.

Helen Lederer

Who? Actress and comedian

What's the rumour? Helen was linked last year, but she later spoke about the confusion to the Evening Standard, saying: "I think they thought they saw me going into the hotel which the producers put the contestants in. But it wasn't me, it was Sam Fox. We do look similar from behind, you know." She has once again been linked to the show this year, with various papers saying she has signed up.

Caitlyn Jenner

Who? Keeping up with the Kardashians star

What's the rumour? Caitlyn was in London over May and it's believed she stopped by the Channel 5 headquarters for talks with CBB bosses about potentially going into the house later this year. It's reported that producers put an offer forward of £1 million to say yes but we're yet to find out what answer she gave.

Kate Wright

Who? TOWIE star and alleged girlfriend of Rio Ferdinand

What's the rumour? After joining the show n 2015, Kate decided to quit TOWIE this year, which means she's now free to take on other TV roles. It's believed CBB bosses are desperate to get her on board so that she can spill the beans on her romance with Rio. But she hasn't confirmed anything.

Hulk Hogan

Who? WWE superstar

What's the rumour? Producers have allegedly been eyeing up Hulk for months as a potential housemate. In previous years, he's turned down offers from the show and has joked that he would consider doing it for the right about. Will Channel 5 be able to cough up enough?

Spencer Matthews

Who? Made in Chelsea star

What's the rumour? He's already done I'm A Celebrity and The Jump, now, rumour has it that Spencer's being considered for CBB. Bookies Betway claim the odds for him entering the house re now at 11/4.

Pete Wicks

Who? TOWIE star and ex-boyfriend of Megan McKenna

What's the rumour? It's reported that Channel 5 are eager to sign up another TOWIE star, and this series, they're hoping to convince Pete to enter the house. He's one of the biggest names on the Essex reality show at the minute thanks to his fiery on-off relationship with Megan. If he were to move on with somebody else on CBB, there would be fireworks.

Derek Acorah

Who? Most Haunted star and TV medium

What's the rumour? Apparently, Derek has not only been in talks with show bosses but he's already signed on the dotted line. A representative (who would have been sworn to secrecy by Channel 5) has denied the reports but let's just wait and see.

The Cheeky Girls

Who? Popstars: The Rivals rejects turned genuine popstars for a while

What's the rumour? According to The Sun, the Cheekies are in 'serious talks' to appear in a special 'pairs-themed' series of Big Brother. Now, we're assuming they mean the Celebrity edition, but who knows?

We're frankly amazed they've never gone on CBB before, so this has been a long time coming.

Wayne Shaw

Who? Ex-Sutton FC 'pie-gate' goalkeeper

What's the rumour? Really this is just wishful thinking. Mainly from a bunch of people on Twitter pleading with bosses to put the poor git in the house in the hopes of him winning some dosh after the ridiculous farce which saw the 46-year-old having to resign over eating a ruddy pie during a match.

Chances of it actually happening? Depends on whether we remember who he is by the summer.

Jemma Lucy

Who? Ex on the Beach star / model

What's the rumour? Not much, but The Sun claims that she's had talks to appear in the show later this year.

"Everyone knows Jemma makes for great telly so it's no surprise she's on the Celebrity Big Brother wanted list, a classic 'source' said.

"She's not afraid to have a barney or strip off so she'll definitely spice up the house."

Faryal Makhdoom

Who? Boxer Amir Khan's wife

What's the rumour? The 25-year-old model told her Snapchat followers that she's considering an offer from Channel 5.

She wrote: "Hey guys, I got asked to be on Celebrity Big Brother ... it's a very tricky one and idk if I can do it.

"I want all my followers advice. On my last Instagram post tell me whether I should or shouldn't? I want you guys to pick! X."

Jaymi Hensley

Who? Union J singer

What's the rumour? According to The Mirror, the former X Factor star is "in talks" to joining the next lineup of Celebrity Big Brother.

Apparently, he had previously come close to appearing on the show but dropped out at the last minute due to work commitments.

Bobby Norris

Who? The Only Way is Essex star

What's the rumour? Bobby may end up following his co-star and BFF Gemma Collins into the house after confirming to The Sun that he had a "meeting" with show bosses.

He said: "I've watched it literally since series one day one, and I'm on BOTS most series to be fair and I think I'd quite fancy the challenge of doing it, because I'm such a fan of the show."

Bobby has indeed made regular appearances as a panellist on BOTS with host Rylan Clark-Neal, but has said in the past that he is reluctant to go in because he is such a Big Brother nerd.

Michaella McCollum

Who? Notorious drug mule

What's the rumour? After serving three years in a South American prison with pal Melissa Reid for trying to smuggle 11kg of cocaine worth £1.5million from Peru to Spain, it's rumoured Michaella has been signed up for CBB. Her ex-boyfriend DJ Brad Houston dropped a huge hint recently that's she being considered for the series. He wrote on Facebook: "Hope she gets it, the girl deserves some good luck." We'll watch this space.

Talulah-Eve Brown

Who? Britain's Next Top Model contestant

What's the rumour? She made TV history earlier this year by becoming the first ever transgender model to compete in the British reality show. Now, thanks to her incredible backstory and love of being centre of attention, it's believed CBB producers want her in the house. She initially revealed she wanted to appear on I'm A Celebrity, but after ITV allegedly said no, she's reportedly been in talks with Channel 5.

Rodrigo Alves

Who? Social media personality

What's the rumour? Nicknamed the "human Ken doll", Rodrigo has spent nearly half a million pounds on plastic surgery to give himself the perfect face and body. He has had over 100 cosmetic procedures including nose jobs, botox and fillers. There's no doubt Channel 5 would want to snap him up for CBB.

Nathan Henry

Who? Geordie Shore star

What's the rumour? As a fan of the show, Nathan has appeared on Big Brother's Bit on the Side before to offer his opinions on the goings on in the house and he's a prolific BB tweeter too, so it's safe to say he knows what'll make good TV. He's hilarious in Geordie Shore and his presence in the house is sure to make sure it's something of a non-stop party.

Brandi Glanville

Who? Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star

What's the rumour? Well, Brandi was been a cast member on Real Housewives between seasons three and five, but she is currently in the thick of a lawsuit after being sued for slander from Real Housewives co-star Joanna Krupa for $2 million.

The Sun has linked her to this series of CBB after an apparent line-up leak, but as she's previously appeared on season seven of Celebrity Apprentice in the US, we don't doubt Brandi knows how this reality TV game works.

Sandi Bogle

Who? Gogglebox star

What's the rumour? One of our favourite professional telly watchers could be about to see what it's like to be on the other side of the box as another name on The Sun's leaked line-up list.

It's not a huge surprise really as Sandi announced she was leaving Gogglebox earlier this year and it's not a huge jump to guess she may be heading to a TV show either in a bid to try and and repeat the Scarlett Moffatt/I'm a Celebrity effect.

Amelia Lily

Who? X Factor contestant

What's the rumour? Amelia finished in third place on the X Factor back in 2011 and has since kept busy in the music world. More recently she's been making a name for herself in theatre and has starred in the UK tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and played Whatshername in Greenday's musical American Idiot on the West End.

However, if The Sun's reports are true, it seems she's missed the pull of reality TV and is willing to swap the stage for a few weeks of constant surveillance from Big Brother.

Rosanna Davison

Who? Model and author

What's the rumour? Rosanna is crooner Chris de Burgh's daughter and Miss World 2003. Although still modelling, she has turned foodie and her book Eat Yourself Beautiful became a bestseller in 2015.

It looks like she wants to swap her beauty Queen crown for a reality TV one.

Trisha Paytas

Who? YouTube star

What's the rumour? Trisha Paytas is a vlogger - that's someone who makes videos on YouTube, for us oldies - and has amassed 2.8 million subscribers. She also makes her own music and posts music videos and performances on there as well.

Trisha is used to being in front of millions from behind a camera so will know exactly what she needs to do.

John Leslie

Who? TV presenter

What's the rumour? It seems like this one might not be happening after all. Apparently, the former Blue Peter presenter was offered one of the biggest fees ever to appear on this summer's series but pulled out at the last minute.

Chad Johnson

Who? US reality TV star

What's the rumour? Chad took part in The Bachelorette last year and then The Bachelor In Paradise looking for love, but it wasn't meant to be. Clearly he needs a trip to the Love Island villa, eh?

He's a reality TV pro these days so he'll be entertaining at least and if we're lucky, we might get a little romance story in the house.

Paul Danan

Who? Former Hollyoaks actor

What's the rumour? Paul Danan has been rumoured as a CBB contestant for years after being a regular Bit on the Side panellist. He starred in Hollyoaks as troublemaker Sol from 1997 and then appeared on Love Island - back when it was for celebs - but got into a bit of trouble.

Honestly, we're surprised it's taken BB this long to sign "Dangerous" Danan up.

Marissa Jade

Who? Reality TV star

What's the rumour? Marissa rose to fame in US reality show Mob Wives: The Last Stand and was probably one of the toughest in the house - Hulk Hogan included - as she's been known to physically fight the other women on the show. She's also dabbled in acting and has apparently inspired the main character in comic book Destiny, Queen of Thieves. Ohhh.

Sam Thompson

Who? Made in Chelsea star

What's the rumour? Another reality star rumoured to be heading into the CBB house is Sam Thompson. He's currently nursing a broken heart after splitting up with girlfriend Tiffany Watson recently. He's also a vlogger so knows exactly how to work an audience.

No doubt he'll be entertaining in the house.

Jeremy McConnell and Stephanie Davis

Who? Irish model / former Hollyoaks star

What's the rumour? Could this really happen? These two found 'love' on the show in the past, and their on-off status seemed to rumble on for 47 years. As recently as last week, Jeremy was appearing on This Morning for a DNA test on live TV to find out if he's the father of her son.

According to 'sources', the Daily Star claimed that the pair were in talks to sign up for the series, despite not being on speaking terms.

Before January's series, Stephanie was also rumoured to be heading in, but tweeted: "Come on now. I will not be taking part in CBB 2017. It was lovely to be asked by my priorities are my son and being an amazing mummy.

Ivana Trump

Who? The first wife of US President Donald Trump

What's the rumour? She's competed on the show before back in 2010. Now, it's rumoured that producers are desperate to get her back in the house and have even offered her a £2 million deal. Apparently, show bosses are hoping she'll expose all sorts of secrets about the US President.

Stephen Bear

Who? Reality star and boyfriend of Charlotte Crosby

What's the rumour? Bear reckons Channel 5 asked him to be in January's series but he had to tell them no as he was already filming Celebs Go Dating. But now his schedule is looking a little clearer and the reality star is hoping they'll give him another chance. He told The Sun: "Of course I'll do the show again. They asked me in January and they're probably going to ask me again this summer."

Nicola McLean

Who? Glamour model and WAG

What's the rumour? She's already done CBB twice before, but Nicola recently sparked rumours that she could be signing up for a third time. Taking to Twitter, she randomly told her loyal army of followers: "I've only just packed my cases from Cbb. Better late than never I suppose." Late? The new series doesn't start until August!

Perez Hilton

Who? Celebrity blogger, featured in CBB 15

What's the rumour? Perez actually told us on Twitter that CBB bosses had offered him a deal to return to the house for the current series, but he wasn't happy with it:

Perez also claimed that he turned down more than "£250,000" from Celebrity Big Brother producers, adding: "I wanted a lot more than that."

In December, Perez Hilton put public pressure on Channel 5 to meet his salary demands as rumours started swirling about fellow All Stars Speidi (aka Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt), Coleen Nolan, James Jordan and Jasmine Waltz returning to the Celebrity Big Brother house.

In his trademark sassy style, Perez revealed: "For those of you who sweetly keep wanting an update or confirmation.... Yes, I was asked to appear on next month's #CelebrityBigBrother "all-stars" edition in the U.K. Despite my better judgement, I said I would do it... IF the price is right!"

So, maybe he'll be convinced next time around?

Kellie Maloney

Who? Boxing manager, featured in CBB 14

What's the rumour? Kellie has said that she was "in a very bad place" during her last appearance on the show, and would love another crack at it.

"I would like to go back into the Big Brother house now so that people could see the real Kellie Maloney," she told The Sun.

"When they saw me back in 2014 I was in a very bad place because I was coming to terms with myself and I was fighting myself as well as being accepted by the world, because there was still a lot of Frank in me.

"The Big Brother house helped me a lot, so I'd love to go back, as I don't think the world really met the real Kellie Maloney. I wouldn't say no if it was offered to me, as it would give me the opportunity to show the world how I've matured and how I've grown up and how I've become the real me."

Lauren Harries

Who? Former child star, TV personality, featured in CBB 12

What's the rumour? Like Kellie, Lauren is desperate to get back in the house and have another go at winning the grand prize.

"It's always possible, you never know what might happen," she told The Sun. "I need to go back in! There have been petitions, I get hundreds of notifications a day. I can't go outside as people are asking why I'm not in the house!"

"I never do anything just for attention, I'd never stage anything like Speidi – they act. They make a few words spread like Lord of the Flies, then starts the confrontation and it's all lies."

Rhian Sugden

Who? Glamour model, featured in CBB 10

What's the rumour? The Sun has claimed that Rhian has been approached to return to the CBB house, and she seems up for it too.

She said: "I would love to go back in and experience it properly. I am more mature now and less hot-headed.

"My time was ruined in the house, I went in and had to lie about having a boyfriend at the time and it got me in all kinds of trouble. I am a natural-born flirt, I wasn't doing anyone any harm."

Frenchy

Who? French reality star

What's the rumour? Frenchy was TV gold on CBB in 2014 when she destroyed Leslie Jordan's underwear with a pair of scissors in one particularly vicious outburst. Now, it's believed producers want her back but she's allegedly demanding £100,000 to re-enter the house. Three years ago, she was paid £20,000 to do the same job. That's a pretty steep pay rise!

Courtney Stodden

Who? US reality star, featured in CBB 12

What's the rumour? According to the Daily Star, Courtney had been approached by producers for the summer edition in January.

While Courtney hasn't responded to the reports, the "insider" also claimed that Courtney is definitely up for returning and would even consider staying in the UK for months after the show ended.

Farrah Abraham

Who? Teen Mom USA star, featured in CBB 16

What's the rumour? Farrah has kind of started this rumour herself, posting a story of a second "All Star" series on her Instagram.

Along with her post, she wrote that a comeback would be "fierce". Ergo, she's up for it.

However, we're not totally sure Channel 5 would welcome her back with open arms after THAT whole bust-up with Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace on BOTS.

Channel 4-era celebrities

So far, Channel 5 has generally only welcomed back celebrities from its own era of CBB series. But there are rumours that this may change with the next series.

The Sun reports that Channel 5 is considering bringing back even more iconic CBB stars to make it "the best out of the 20 series".

We've recently seen the likes of Vanessa Feltz and John McCririck return to the house as part of tasks, so maybe they could be convinced to make a full time comeback?

Celebrity Big Brother will premiere on Channel 5 on Tuesday, August 1 at 9pm, so cancel all of your plans.
