Girls Basketball Roundup: Cumberland Valley edges State College; Fasick leads Bishop McDevitt over Palmyra

Cumberland Valley 48, State College 41

Kennedy Kuffa and Abbie Miller combined for 19 points as Cumberland Valley earned an impressive 48-41 Mid-Penn Commonwealth win over State College.

Isabelle Leazier and Maya Bokunewicz once again lead the Lady Little Lions offensively, as the duo accounted for 27 points. Leazier posted a game-high 15 points, while Bokunewicz chipped in 12 points in the loss.

Bishop McDevitt 52, Palmyra 34

Liv Fasick accounted for half of Bishop McDevitt's scoring as the Crusaders remained perfect in a 52-34 win over Palmyra. The Crusaders went to 15-0 on the season with the victory.

Fasick turned in a 26-point performance, while Treasure George added 11 points.

Olivia Richardson tallied 16 points for the Cougars.

Lower Dauphin 55, Susquehanna Twp. 39

Grace Day, Lauren Kirsch, and Sofia Pendolino all reached double figures to propel Lower Dauphin past Susquehanna Twp., 55-39.

Day led the Falcons with 13 points, while Kirsch and Pendolino each posted 11 points.

For the Indians, Ajae Anderson led the team with 11 points.

Trinity 60, Camp Hill 32

Four different players reached double figures for Trinity as the Shamrocks easily defeated Camp Hill, 60-32.

Sunshine McCrae led all scorers with 16 points, while teammate Jaylin Moore posted 12 points. Kassidy Ingram and Ava Stevenson tallied 11 points and 10 points, respectively.

Middletown 57, East Pennsboro 40

Kate Fitzpatrick turned in yet another sensational performance to lead Middletown to a 57-40 victory over East Pennsboro Friday night.

Fitzpatrick led the Blue Raiders with 27 points and added 6 steals on the defensive end. Jae Keller turned in a strong performance in her own rite, posting a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards. Joci Koser chipped in 7 points and 4 steals while Ayanna Reeves added 7 points and 11 boards.

McKenna Borrell paced the Panthers with 14 points. Teammate McKenna Nugent finished with 8 points in the loss.

Harrisburg 62, Mifflin County 31

Dajahnae Brannon powered Harrisburg as the Cougars doubled-up Mifflin County, 62-31. Brannon finished with a game-high 19 points, while teammate Hull chipped in 10 points for the Cougars.

For the Huskies, Mya Aumiller posted a team-high 9 points.

Greencastle-Antrim 43, Boiling Springs 22

Greencastle's stifling defense held Boiling Springs to 6 total field goals as the Blue Devils bested the Bubblers, 43-22 in Mid-Penn Colonial action.

Madison Sweitzer led a well balanced Blue Devils offensive attack with 9 points and added 6 boards. Ashley True chipped in 7 points, while Sayge Wilhide finished with 6 points and 8 rebounds.

Mechanicsburg 46, Red Land 21

In a well rounded offensive night, Mechanicsburg picked up a 46-21 win over Red Land. The Wildcats tallied 12 assists in the win.
