'House of Cards' Latest News: Robin Wright Goes Barefaced at LAX, Show's Costume Designer Talks Wardrobe

While "House of Cards" is currently prepared to roll out for its third season, the media has been rummaging for updates, this time not about the show, but of its cast members and crew.

In a recent report by the Daily Mail, they pointed out Claire Underwood's actress Robin Wright coming out barefaced and "androgynous chic" as she makes her way through LAX this Tuesday. Wearing just a grey hat and boyfriend jeans, the 48-year-old actress finished her get-up with a dark jacket and a brown leather messenger bag.

Set to once again reprise the role of a conniving wife to the newly-sworn U.S. president, Wright had been nominated not once but twice for the role.

Meanwhile, Kevin Spacey, who recently made the headlines for appearing as his character, Frank Underwood, in "The Colbert Report" has attended the recent Content Marketing World event that was held in Cleveland.

In front of 2,500 attendees, according to KDramaStars, Spacey broke off the solemnity of the affair by starting off in a statement:

"I know what you're all thinking. What the hell am I doing here?" he said.

The 55-year-old "American Beauty" actor explained his part saying that content marketing as well as journalism basically shares a lot of common attributes with what's going on in Hollywood.

"When you strip everything away, we are all striving toward the same goal, and that is connecting with our audiences," he said.

More off-screen updates points out Johanna Argan, the genius behind the wardrobe of "House of Cards." In an interview with The Baltimore Sun, Argan revealed that when it comes to the clothes of the Underwoods, everything must be thorough.

"We adhere to a very strict color palette," Argan said. "Claire wears only black, gray, blue and navy. You'll never see anyone wearing red. Mr. Fincher has a very distinct style. He shoots dark against light, and that's kind of the opposite of what most people do."

The design, as what the publication said, reveals that somehow, both Frank and Claire are depressed and having emotional troubles.

"They keep everything between the two of them," Argan said, "and even then, they have secrets from each other."

"Everything the Underwoods do is very Shakespearean," she added. "Everything they do, say and wear is very controlled and thought out."

Third season of "House of Cards" is rumored to its usual viewing schedule probably on February 2015.
