Mary Seaton

Mary Seaton went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, March 5, 2019. She passed away at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale, Florida, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Seaton. She and Bill raised their family in Beebe, Arkansas and Springdale, Arkansas. They were members of the Elmdale Baptist Church of Springdale. Mary very much enjoyed her Ladies' Sunday School class. Some of her favorite pastimes were traveling, playing cards games with friends, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. Mary was born in Cabot, Arkansas. She graduated from the Cabot High School in 1948. She was the youngest child of John and Nell Jones. She had 4 brothers and three sisters, which all preceded her in death. She was a "stay-at-home Mom" and later worked as a secretary for Springdale Farms and retired from Beaver Land Real Estate in Springdale. She is survived by one daughter, Becky (Ken) Kipp of Haines City, Florida; two sons, William Michael (Martha) Seaton of Denton, Texas, and Rick (Stacy) Seaton of Jefferson City, Missouri. She was "Nana" to seven granddaughters, Allyson (Jeremy) Waters, Maryssa (Chase) Harris, Sarah (Roy) Jackson, Rachel Fish, Kristie Allen, Kelley (Jason) Erickson, and Karen (Dennis) Combs; and 13 great-grandchildren. Graveside services at the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. Rick Seaton and Rev. Kenneth Kipp officiating.
